Iron Heart brings us a beautiful spring time flannel made up of 9oz selvedge unbrushed cotton. Since the interior is unbrushed, the shirt feels much lighter which makes it a perfect weight for transitional weather. The darkest yarns in the pattern are indigo dyed while the lighter shades are sulphur cheese-dyed to allow for natural fading over time. With only four shuttle looms in Japan capable of producing this intricate pattern (which requires switching the weft yarn mid-weave), these are some of the most unique Japanese-made flannels available this season.
Please note while they are calling the color of this shirt Black, it definitely leans more dark indigo.
