First issued to US Navy sailors in the early 1960s, the A2 deck jacket was the natural successor to the iconic N1, utilizing lighter-weight but equally functional materials. Its design incorporated the N1’s tried and tested features such as a heavy-duty zipper and hidden storm cuffs - but with a modified collar, hemline cinches and an added breast pocket for versatility. This Iron Heart take on a classic jacket remains very true to the original design, constructed with a tough 12oz whipcord outer shell, which becomes 14oz following oil application process and a soft 100% wool lined interior. The lining extends all the way down the sleeves for maximum warmth and comfort during the colder months, whilst still ensuring a smooth feel when putting on and taking off the jacket.
