Studio D'Artisan tapered fit in a 13.5oz selvedge denim that's been dyed used a traditional Kyoto "Super Black" dying method. Done by the legendary Monstsuki Dye House, this technique uses an indigo under-dyeing process where indigo and black are repeatedly layered and the result is the "ultimate black". Steeped in Japan's aesthetic history of social status with achieving the blackest color possible of kimonos, this process dates back to the 10th century.
Offered in SDA's tapered fit which has a relaxed top portion and a gentle taper from the knee down for a slim look with a leg opening that will still accommodate your favorite pair of boots. These have been one-washed so no further shrinkage should be expected with cold wash/hang dry.
